Overview

Over 165 years of combined industry knowledge

Coast Tile has over 165 years of combined industry knowledge, making them the go to people for all things tile, stone and hardwood related. With four generations now in the industry and 3 generations at the helm of Coast Tile, there is no better place to go for all your design needs.

1965

Where it started

Joseph Eisele Jr. Started a tile installer working with his father and soon after went off on his own and began laying tile under the company name Bayshore Tile. As his business grew larger, he began to start buying and stocking a few tiles in his garage in Northfield, NJ.

The local contractors would go to their house in the morning, where his wife Mary Eisele would have coffee ready to go and they would stock up for their projects for that day. As this began to grow larger and larger Joseph Eisele Jr. knew it was time to make this thing bigger and thus, in 1965, Coast Tile was born.

1980

How it grew

Coast Tile ran out of a small showroom for many years but as the business started to become a local household name and the client base grew bigger, it was time for his Son’s to join the business and keep expanding.

In 1980, the flag ship showroom in Egg Harbor Township was constructed and the same location stands today. From humble beginnings Coast Tile started to bring in some of the most exciting and exclusive lines the industry had to offer. The business continued to grow and be run by the 2nd generation.

2024

What it is Today

As time went on more members of the family joined the growing organization and started to help push the Coast Tile name into new markets. Now the third generation is onboard and continuing the Coast Tile legacy. The expansion continues with the opening of a brand new designer showroom in Avalon, NJ in 2024.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We walked in and was amazed of the selection of tile. We went up to the counter and meet with Kyle and he was so helpful and took his time to show us a lot of different selections. After spending 45 minutes with us he was under the gun with another appointment. He had asked Sue Ellen to help with the finishing touches to our bathroom. Sue was just so helpful and spent a lot of time to find us the finishing touches to tie everything together. They both were so helpful. I strongly recommend this store and their staff.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Irene and the staff at Coast Tile and Marble supplied the shower tile and flooring for our bathroom remodel. They have a great selection of tile from which to choose. At first I thought it would be overwhelming to mix and match, but Irene was great. She helped us pair up the styles and was really patient as we mixed and matched until we found a combination that we absolutely love.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. This is our second time using Coast Tile for a new construction home. This time around we worked with Irene. She was very flexible and professional. I went in many times to tweak the look of each room and she was very patient with my design process. If you are looking for unique, top-quality tile, this is the place! We would highly recommend Coast and their staff!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I had a very pleasant experience while shopping for shower tile and kitchen floor tile. Irene is the one that mainly helped me but everyone in there was so nice and helpful when she was not there to assist me. Irene helped me think of things I didn't and guided me along the way. Coast also helped me find my tile guy and he was fantastic (Samuel Ernst)! I will be redoing my laundry room soon and will definitely be going back to Coast!!! They really do care about their customers.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Beautiful and unique selection of tile. Great prices and we did not have to wait too long, even for special order tile. We remodeled two full bathrooms - Irene was very knowledgeable and was able to help us hone in our design ideas. She got us in and out of the showroom quick and we are thrilled with the final product. Thank you!
